The Aftermath (aka… what did I just do 😅)

The Aftermath (aka… what did I just do 😅)

The truck is unloaded.

There are saran-wrapped bins everywhere.
No labels. No system. No rhyme or reason.

Just… chaos.

And me?
I have evenings and weekends to somehow make sense of it all.

Oh—and just to keep things spicy—
I have one week to relaunch the website.

Cool cool cool.

Hello stress.
Goodbye sanity.

Somehow… I did it.

Did I cry?
Yep.
More than once.

And then the website went live.

There were typos.
Things didn’t work properly.
Pages weren’t quite right.

And it was… Too much.
I completely melted. Queue John, the king of empathy… he was my ROCK!

And in the middle of all of that I had to remind myself…
The sun will still come up tomorrow!

Also worth mentioning…
I had no clue what I was doing.

Like… truly.

And Jayd—who had been such a huge support through everything—was recovering from surgery.

So there I was… Figuring it out in real time.

But here’s what surprised me the most:
People were kind.
People were patient.
People were rooting for me.
They wanted me to succeed.

Did I mess up? Absolutely.

Would I do things differently now? Also yes.

Was I humbled? Ohhhh yes.

I was on a full-blown roller coaster of chaos.

And if you’re wondering— Did I want off? Nope.

Because underneath all the stress, the mistakes, the “what am I doing” moments…

I was learning. Fast.

📊 Inventory management

All of it.

All at once.

And let’s talk about expectations for a second.

Because I had so many ideas.

So many things I wanted to do. Launch. Fix. Improve.

And then reality hit:

There are only 24 hours in a day. That was a big lesson for me.

You can have the vision.
You can have the drive.

But you also need to give yourself time to grow into it. And that’s exactly what I did.

One mistake.
One fix.
One small win at a time.
